I am Wendy Van Riesen, designer of Dahlia Drive. I salvage pre-loved slips, shirts and fabric remnants and resurrect them by hand dying, screen printing, embellishing and using rusting techniques to create original pieces of wearable art. I am the sole designer and originator behind the Dahlia Drive brand- named after my neighbour Gordon’s Dahlias which I used to dye my first creations; coincidently Dahlia Drive is also the name of the street I lived on as a child. I hope by visiting my site that you will get an even greater understanding about what my line is all about.
